Honda Civic Type R is all set for the IRC 2007 in Ypres Rally Belgium!

The Honda Civic Type R is all set for the new round in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC), the Ypres Rally Belgium, which will be held on Friday, June 22nd. The Civic Type R may have fared well in the previous rounds of the race, but they are up for a tougher challenge this time. The round three of the IRC is the asphalt challenge.

Drivers Dani Sola and Luca Betti made a promising debut with the car on the all-gravel Rally of Turkey last month, but the specialist asphalt roads of Belgium will mark another chapter in the new car’s development---particularly as the Honda drivers will be up against a wide variety of well-known local experts,” according to automobilesport.com. The Civic Type R's high-revving V-Tec engine is expected to carry them to the round with only the best results. "We hope to showcase our Civic Type R in the best possible way in Belgium. So far, the potential has been extremely encouraging, and our aim now is to continue this upwards learning curve in order to provide our customers with the best possible package to live out their passion, with a high level of satisfaction,” William de Braekeleer, honda Europe's Motorsport Manager concluded.
